It always good to check the glycemic index of a particular food before you reaches your stomach (luckily there is plenty of information online) or you can also subscribe to a low glycemic index food delivery service such as Nutrisystem, and have professionals prepare your diet meals for you.
It’s very easy to subscribe, I personally find it fun to assemble your menu online and then have no worries about food for the next month or even longer. Thankfully, those food delivery services are cost effective and available everywhere.
