Balanced Diet Menu

Breakfast

  • 1-2 whole wheat toasts, 1 cup of low fat cottage cheese, small fresh vegetable salad, 1 cup of tea or coffee.

Snack

  • 1-2 fruits and green vegetables (Bell peppers, cucumbers).

Lunch

  • 1 plate of vegetable or bean soup, 1 chicken or turkey breast, or 1 lean beef steak with steamed vegetables, 1 baked potato.

Snack

  • 1-2 fruits, 1 cup of low fat yogurt.

Dinner

  • 6 oz grilled or broiled fish, large vegetable salad with low fat dressing.

Note: Drink plenty of water, at least 8 cup a day. Use sugar and salt in moderation, substitute honey for sugar when you can.
