What works for me.

1. No-fat plain yogurt, not very good by itself but good with bananas and granola for breakfast.

2. No bread.

3. No fried or unhealthy foods.

4. Lots of tea, it makes water more interesting.

5. Salad.

6. Fruit you can eat a lot of.

100 calorie chocolate milk which is tastier that plain and is not as calorific as normal chocolate milk.
