Choose Type of Fitness Training

Many people believe that they have to split each fitness training session into two parts: cardio and weight lifting.

While both of those types of exercise are important you do not have to do them both every time.

Instead listen to your body and decide for yourself when you are more prepared for one or the other form of exercise. Some people like to run at 6 am, but for others it may be unacceptable.

Ideally, I recommend to do circuit training which will give you a full body workout in limited time. It is one of the few forms of fitness training that has been shown to effectively develop both strength and cardiovascular fitness in the same exercise session. Yoga is a good circuit training program example.

Choose the Right Time

Think what time of the day you feel more awaken and ready to exercise. For some it can be early in the morning, for others around evening time.

Generally, you body is at its peak of activity at around 5-6 pm. Many believe that you have the most energy in the morning, and while it is true, your body is not as flexibly after long night rest, making you more susceptible to injures. Morning hours are perfect for relaxing routine, such as stretching and shorter and milder exercise sessions. They jump start your metabolism and boost your energy for the upcoming day.

If you take your fitness training seriously and want to have a longer workout routing, consider finding time for it in the early evening hours.

Develop Your Schedule

After establishing your fitness training plan, think about your schedule. If your goal is to lose weight and you have already started your healthy diet, it is good if you can incorporate your weight loss fitness plan in your daily routine.

Your fitness training sessions do not have to be long, but if you exercise everyday while losing weight, you will achieve your goal faster.

If you just want to stay in shape and keep your muscles toned, you can exercises 3-4 times a week with 20 minutes sessions. That doesn't sound like too much, now does it? :)

Choose Your Place

Use every opportunity to exercise outdoors. There is something about fresh air and breeze that makes exercising more enjoyable and fun. Having more space and staying connected to the nature around you sets your mind at peace making you look forward to your fitness training sessions.

Interval Fitness Training Technique

Another thing to remember is to rest between each set of exercises. Your body burns most calories right after you done with your workout. So if you want to get the most out of each exercise session, rest in between each exercise. This type of fitness training is called interval training routine. It involves alternating short, fast bursts of intensive exercise with slow and easy activity.

What to Wear?

Remember to wear comfortable fitness training clothes. I recommend natural cotton fabrics for your outfits and good quality footwear.

When you exercise your body warms up and releases energy and special athletic clothing is designed to help you stay cool and dry while exercising. It provides support, first of all, and keeps muscles warm so that you don't get cramps and strains. Proper clothing also helps to regulate body temperature and ensures good blood circulation.

Fitness training is the key to staying in good shape and health, but it should always go together with complementary healthy diet. If you are one of those people who love exercising and works out regularly make sure you get enough protein to maintain healthy muscles and keep them strong and flexible.
