Baked Honey Apples

by Tasha
(New York)

I am trying to eat healthy and always try to come up with creative ideas for my meals. I got this wonderful baked apples recipe from my friend and think this can be a nice and healthy substitute to caramel covered apples.

What you need:

1 baking pan
5 large apples of any kind
1/2 cup of honey
1 handful of raisins
1 handful of walnuts
Dash of cinnamon

To prepare:

Wash your apples and dry them with a cloth. Cut the middle part with the seeds out making a little hole. Put a few raising and walnuts in the hole and pour honey on top. Sprincle with cinnamon.

Put the apple on the baking sheet, and bake for about 30-45 minutes on 350 degrees farenheit. Remove from the over and enjoy!
